The Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority (ADAA) is the leading body responsible for promoting accountability, transparency, and integrity across all government entities in Abu Dhabi. Its mission is to ensure that public resources are managed efficiently, effectively, and responsibly, protecting them for future generations.
ADAA is a financially and administratively independent authority that reports directly to His Highness the Ruler of Abu Dhabi. It has the power to monitor the financial and operational activities of government entities, as well as companies and projects where the government owns 25% or more of the capital.
