About Company
Our Story: A Tradition of Quality Education
Founded in 1988, Dubai National School is a private American school in Dubai, owned by H.E. Mr. Marwan Al Ghurair, a well-known Emirati businessman. The school is guided by a dedicated Board of Trustees who are committed to improving education at both national and international levels.
We have a diverse community with over 2,300 students from 59 nationalities and around 380 staff members representing 30 different nationalities. Our teachers are carefully selected from both local and international backgrounds to provide students with a high-quality learning experience.
Curriculum & Academics
Dubai National School follows the American curriculum based on Massachusetts State Standards. English is the main language of instruction, while subjects such as Arabic, Islamic Studies, Social Studies, Moral Education, and Culture are also taught according to UAE Ministry of Education requirements.
Our curriculum is designed to meet the needs of students from different cultural backgrounds and help them succeed academically and personally.
Pathways to Success
Students receive a high school diploma that is recognized by the UAE Ministry of Education and considered equivalent to national secondary certificates.
We also offer Advanced Placement (AP) courses, giving students the chance to prepare for university-level studies. The school plans to expand these courses to support different student interests and abilities.
Accreditation & Continuous Growth
Dubai National School has been accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) since 2003. In 2022, the school successfully completed its third accreditation cycle.
The school is currently working on its fourth accreditation cycle, with ongoing evaluations and visits to ensure continuous improvement and high educational standards.
