South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, also known as the Maudsley, is one of the world’s leading organizations in mental health care, research, and education. Based in London, the Maudsley has more than 700 years of experience in providing high-quality mental health services. It is recognized as the oldest psychiatric institution in the world and one of Europe’s top centers for psychiatric research and treatment.

The organization has around 5,000 staff members from different professional backgrounds, including psychiatrists, nurses, psychologists, psychotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, and clinical scientists.
