Founded in 1998 by Dr. Thumbay Moideen, Founder President of Thumbay Group, Gulf Medical University began as Gulf Medical College with a vision to transform healthcare education in the UAE. Over the years, it has grown into a leading medical university, attracting students from across the globe. Dr. Moideen’s goal was to create a world-class academic health system that combines education, research, and patient care, preparing future healthcare professionals and improving health outcomes in the region.
