The Scholars School

Our Story

The Scholars International Group began its journey in 1976. It was founded by Ms. Madhu Verma, a dedicated educator, and her husband Mr. Yashpal Verma, a civil engineer and philanthropist. Together, they worked to improve educational opportunities and helped develop strong educational infrastructure.

Today, their vision continues through their daughter, Ms. Aparna Verma. She has played an important role in shaping and advancing education in the UAE. Her contributions have been widely recognized, and she has received several prestigious awards, including Arabian Business CEO of the Year, Emirates Woman of the Year, and the Gulf News Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence in Education in the UAE.

Universities Our Students Attend

Students from SIG schools have gone on to study at many of the world’s leading universities. Over the years, thousands of our alumni have continued their education at respected institutions such as Columbia, Brown, Dartmouth, Georgetown, Imperial College London, Stanford, and the London School of Economics, among many others.

Scholars Signature Programmes

Our Scholars Signature Programmes are part of the weekly learning schedule and are designed to help students turn knowledge into real-world action. These programmes help students build essential life skills such as leadership and community engagement, along with important technical skills like entrepreneurship and digital literacy. Students learn through practical experiences and hands-on projects.

Scholars Spartans Academy

The Scholars Spartans Academy focuses on developing athletic performance. It helps students build physical strength, discipline, and confidence through regular training, competitive matches, and teamwork. The programme encourages students to develop strong habits, responsibility, and a spirit of excellence.

Future Founders Lab

Future Founders Lab introduces students to the world of business and entrepreneurship. Through practical projects, students learn how to manage money, think creatively, and turn their ideas into real outcomes. The programme encourages innovation and problem-solving.

Digital Visionaries

Digital Visionaries helps students become confident with technology. Instead of focusing only on coding, students learn by designing, testing, and improving their own digital ideas and prototypes. The programme also promotes responsible use of technology and introduces students to thoughtful AI and digital decision-making.

Communicate to Lead

Communicate to Lead is a programme designed to develop strong communication skills. Students practice speaking clearly, listening actively, and expressing their ideas with confidence. Through guided practice, they build skills in voice, presence, reasoning, and purposeful communication.
