The University of West London (UWL) is a well-known public university in the United Kingdom, respected for its high-quality teaching and strong focus on career success. The University of West London’s Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) campus is located in the RAKEZ Academic Zone and offers students a chance to study a UK degree in the UAE. The campus provides programs in Business, Finance, and Computing that are designed to prepare students for global careers.
Students can choose from undergraduate and postgraduate courses such as Accounting and Finance (with ACCA accreditation), Business Studies, Computer Science, Cyber Security, MBA, MSc Cyber Security, and MSc Artificial Intelligence. All courses are taught in person by experienced and qualified faculty, combining academic learning with practical, real-world skills.
The campus is approved by the Ras Al Khaimah Department of Knowledge and follows the same academic standards as the main campus in the UK. This ensures students receive the same quality of education.
UWL RAK also focuses strongly on career development. Through its Employability Lab and Placement Cell, students get access to internships, hands-on training, and career support to help them prepare for future jobs.
The campus has received a Diamond rating in the RAKEZ–QAA UK Quality Evaluation Ranking 2023 and the RAK Department of Knowledge Quality Audit 2025, meeting all required academic standards.
As part of the Association of Commonwealth Universities and with recognition from World Education Services (WES), degrees from UWL RAK are accepted worldwide for both higher education and employment.
