Key Milestones in Our Journey
Our Roots (1993): After several mergers and acquisitions, Genivar was founded in Quebec. It quickly grew across Canada and laid the foundation for international expansion.
Global Expansion (2012): Genivar acquired the UK-based William Sale Partnership Ltd. (WSP), forming a global professional services firm with 15,000 employees across 300 offices worldwide.
Unified Identity & Major Growth (2014): Genivar became WSP Global Inc., uniting thousands of professionals under one name. The acquisition of Parsons Brinckerhoff, a US-based consulting firm, strengthened our global footprint and expertise.
Environmental Leadership (2021): The acquisition of Golder Associates, a global environmental and earth sciences consultancy, expanded WSP’s capabilities in environmental consulting.
Energy Transition Focus (2024): Adding POWER Engineers to WSP further cemented our leadership in the Power & Energy sector.
