The Yateem legacy began in Bahrain, when Late Mr. Ahmed Ali Yateem established one of the first optical shops and pharmacies in the Middle East. He recognized the need for a local, reliable source of vision care. His son, Late Mr. Abdulla Ali Yateem, expanded the business strategically across the region. In 1971, Mr. Naser Abdulla Yateem opened the first retail showroom in Abu Dhabi, marking the start of Yateem Opticians’ presence in the UAE. Today, the five sons of Mr. Abdulla Ali Yateem continue to lead the group, upholding the family’s values while delivering world-class eye care and eyewear.
