As we aim to expand, we seek a highly skilled ACCA-qualified Accountant with expertise in UAE tax regulations and local market experience to join our team.
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant who is ACCA-qualified and understands UAE’s Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations and policies. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in the local market and a proven track record in managing comprehensive accounting functions and tax-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accounting & Financial Reporting: Prepare and manage financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports. Ensure accuracy and compliance with UAE accounting standards.
* Tax Compliance: Handle all tax-related tasks, including VAT returns, tax audits, and compliance with UAE FTA regulations. Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax returns and documentation.
* Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions. Provide insights into financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
* Local Market Expertise: Leverage your knowledge of the UAE market to provide strategic advice on financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
* Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with UAE tax laws and regulations changes. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies.
* Audit Coordination: Collaborate with external auditors and facilitate the audit process by providing necessary documentation and addressing queries.
* Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
* ACCA Qualification: Must be ACCA qualified with a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
* UAE Tax Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of UAE FTA regulations and tax compliance requirements.
* Local Market Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in the UAE market.
* Technical Skills: Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Attention to Detail: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Arabic language skills are a plus.
* Organizational Skills: Managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.
