Accountant

Job Description

We are hiring for the position of Accountant to join our team in Dubai Jebel Ali Free Zone,
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented professional with the following requirements:
– Proven experience in accounting, preferably within the shipping & logistics industry
– Strong knowledge of accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), and reconciliations
– Familiarity with UAE financial regulations with the knowledge of VAT filing and reporting standards
– Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
– Strong organizational and time management skills

Key responsibilities include:
– Managing daily accounting operations
– Handling invoicing, payments, and bank reconciliations
– Preparing financial reports and maintaining accurate records
– Coordinating with internal teams, vessel operators, port handling authority, customs , and logistics partners

Location: Dubai , Jebel Ali Free Zone
Preference will be given to candidates with a shipping & logistics background. Immediate joiners are preferred.
