Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including maintaining general ledgers, processing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and preparing journal entries. The role involves assisting in budget preparation, monitoring expenses, and supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. The Accountant will ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations, prepare documents for audits, and coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders on financial matters. The individual will also help improve financial processes and provide accurate data to support management decision-making.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable processing, and bank reconciliation.
• Candidates should possess financial reporting and analysis skills, including budgeting, variance analysis, and preparation of monthly and annual statements.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and office tools, such as ERP systems, Excel, and other relevant financial applications.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of applicable accounting standards and regulations, preferably with experience in the United Arab Emirates or GCC region.
• Candidates should possess attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) are an advantage.
• Relevant experience in real estate or property development accounting is preferred but not mandatory.
