Job Summary

The Lead Accounts Receivable is responsible for managing the AR function, ensuring timely invoicing and collections, optimizing receivables processes, and maintaining strong internal controls to support healthy cash flow.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable Management

  • Oversee the Accounts Receivable cycle, including invoicing and collections.
  • Ensure timely and accurate issuance of invoices.
  • Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Resolve billing discrepancies and customer queries efficiently.

Reconciliation & Reporting

  • Perform customer account reconciliations.
  • Ensure accuracy of AR balances in the General Ledger.
  • Support month-end closing related to receivables.
  • Prepare aging reports and collection performance analysis.

Working Capital Optimization

  • Optimize receivables management to improve cash flow.
  • Support working capital management initiatives.
  • Track collection KPIs and implement improvement measures.

Compliance & Controls

  • Maintain strong internal controls within the AR function.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE regulations.
  • Support audits by providing AR-related documentation.

Team & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Mentor junior AR team members.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Finance teams to ensure smooth billing processes.
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.

Experience & Qualifications

  • ACCA/CA preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or similar finance roles.
  • Strong exposure to invoicing, collections, and receivables reconciliation.
  • Experience with month-end closing and audit support.
  • Strong understanding of AR processes and reconciliation.
  • Proficiency in financial systems (Oracle preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
  • Solid understanding of internal controls.
