Job Description

The College of Business Administration at Ajman University invites applications for an Adjunct Faculty position in Finance, beginning in the Spring Semester of the 2025–26 academic year.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A Ph.D. in Finance or a closely related field from a reputable, preferably AACSB-accredited, university.
  • Minimum of two years of teaching experience at the university level in Finance courses.
  • Prior industry experience in finance is considered an added advantage.
  • Ability to design innovative course materials and adapt to evolving teaching methodologies.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality instruction in undergraduate Finance courses such as International Finance, Commercial Banking, Portfolio Management and Theory, Financial Planning & Decision Making, ensuring alignment with course objectives and active student engagement.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to support learning.
  • Develop, organize, and update instructional resources, syllabi, and teaching materials.
  • Foster an inclusive, respectful, and culturally sensitive classroom environment.
  • Promote effective collaboration with colleagues and build productive relationships within the university and broader community.
  • Inspire and motivate students to develop financial competencies and professional growth.
  • Incorporate innovative teaching methods, case studies, and real-world applications to enhance course delivery.
