Designation: Assistant Manager – Procurement
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement activities for:
- Main contract works.
- Consultancy services
- Nominated subcontractor works.
- Direct contract works and Direct purchase.
- Review tender packages and ensure completeness before floating tenders.
- Monitor tender process and ensure timely bid submissions.
- Coordinate with internal technical and project management teams to respond to RFIs and issue tender clarifications on time.
- Analyze bids and prepare detailed bid comparisons against budget and previous awarded projects.
- Ensure bid compliance with tender documents and project requirements.
- Negotiating with bidders to keep the cost within the budget and ensure compliance on the commercial / contractual terms and conditions.
- Finalization of procurement activities and process orders
- Collaborate with design, project management, and contracts teams to streamline tender finalization.
- Draft Letters of Award (LOA), Consultancy agreements, and Letters of nominations
- Maintain procurement logs and ensure timely tender completion aligned with project schedules.
- Evaluation of prequalification of new contractors & suppliers to update company vendor list and developing new sources for the benefit of the company to achieve savings
Candidate Requirements
- Quantity Surveyor with strong experience in estimation and quantity take-off
- Industry Experience: Main Contractor or Real Estate Developer (Towers & Villas – Master Developments)
- Skills & Knowledge:
- Knowledge in entire procurement process
- Pre-contract cost estimation
- Knowledge in reviewing Tender drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Experience: Minimum 5-10 yrs Experience in UAE with Main Contractor / Real Estate developer as Estimator/ QS -Precontract
- Qualification: Graduation / Diploma in Civil Engineering
