Danat Al Emarat is a world-class specialty women’s and children’s hospital in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. It offers advanced medical services across specialties including Neonatology, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Women’s Health. The hospital is one of the very few to encompass a dedicated Fetal Medicine Department along with a full-fledged Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in the UAE. This has established Danat Al Emarat as a regional referral center for women with high-risk pregnancies, supported by its Level III NICU providing care for the most fragile newborns.

Danat Al Emarat Hospital is seeking an experienced Consultant Obstetrician & Gynecologist with a strong focus on high‑risk obstetrics to join its Women’s Health team. The role involves managing complex pregnancies and delivering expert obstetric and gynecologic care within a collaborative, tertiary‑level clinical environment.
Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care with a focus on high‑risk pregnancies.
• Lead the management of complex maternal and fetal conditions, including medical comorbidities and obstetric complications.
• Perform and supervise specialized obstetric and gynecologic procedures across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Participate in on‑call rotations to ensure safe and continuous maternity coverage.
• Work closely with maternal‑fetal medicine specialists, neonatologists, anesthesiologists, and nursing teams.

Qualifications

• Board‑certified Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynecology (Tier 1 qualification such as CCT/CCST or equivalent).
• Demonstrated experience in managing high‑risk obstetric cases.
• Strong clinical expertise across antenatal care, intrapartum management, obstetric emergencies, and gynecologic services.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills within multidisciplinary teams.
• Eligibility for DOH Consultant licensure.
