About The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Cost Accountant to join the resort’s Offsite Warehouse team.

Responsibilities

The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:

• Track and validate inventory transactions including receipts, transfers, and returns
• Perform cost variance analysis and investigate discrepancies
• Maintain accurate costing records for all warehouse items
• Prepare monthly inventory and cost reports for finance and operations teams
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities related to warehouse operations
• Assist in preparing accruals and reconciliations for inventory accounts
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and UAE financial regulation
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and analysis
• Implement cost control measures to reduce waste and improve efficiency
• Work closely with warehouse, procurement, and F&B teams to align costing practices
• Assist in recipe costing and yield testing for items stored or processed offsite.
• Provide financial insights to support operational decision-making
  

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Minimum 3–5 years in cost accounting or inventory control, preferably in hospitality or logistics
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Certification in inventory or cost accounting is a plus
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, BirchStreet)
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills
• Knowledge of inventory costing, variance reporting, and reconciliation
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
• Fluent in English; Arabic or other languages are an advantage
