Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced E-commerce SEO Specialist to improve the organic visibility, traffic, and revenue of our online store. The ideal candidate will develop and execute SEO strategies focused on product pages, category pages, technical SEO, content optimization, and keyword growth to increase search engine rankings and drive sales. E-commerce SEO helps online stores attract customers through search engines and improve digital sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct keyword research for products, categories, and customer search intent.
* Optimize product pages, category pages, and landing pages for SEO.
* Perform technical SEO audits and resolve issues related to crawling, indexing, site speed, and structured data.
* Manage on-page SEO elements including meta titles, descriptions, headings, and internal linking.
* Monitor website performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools.
* Develop content strategies to increase organic traffic and conversions.
* Analyze competitor SEO strategies and identify growth opportunities.
* Collaborate with content, marketing, design, and development teams.
* Track rankings, traffic, conversions, and revenue generated from organic search.
* Implement SEO best practices for e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or BigCommerce.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, IT, or a related field.
* 2+ years of SEO experience, preferably in e-commerce.
* Strong understanding of technical SEO, on-page SEO, and link-building.
* Experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, and Google Search Console.
* Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website architecture.
* Experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, etc.).
* Strong analytical and reporting skills.
Preferred Skills
* Knowledge of conversion rate optimization (CRO).
* Experience with schema markup and structured data.
* Understanding of UX and customer journey optimization.
* Basic knowledge of PPC and digital marketing channels.
* Strong communication and project management skills.
