Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Finance & Accounting Internal Auditor to support the accuracy and compliance of financial operations across our group of training companies.

This is an entry-level/junior role, ideal for candidates with 3-5 years of UAE experience in accounting or audit who are looking to build a career in internal auditing within a multi-entity environment.

Applicants who can join immediately or within a 30‑day notice period is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Audit & Controls

• Assist in conducting audits of financial records and transaction cycles.
• Support the review of internal controls over revenue, expenses, payroll, procurement, and cash handling.
• Perform basic testing of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial data.
• Help ensure compliance with IFRS, UAE VAT regulations, and internal policies.
• Identify discrepancies and escalate issues to senior team members.

Risk & Compliance

• Assist in identifying financial risks and control gaps.
• Support compliance checks with statutory requirements and company policies.
• Follow up on audit findings and assist in tracking corrective actions.

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare audit working papers and assist in drafting audit reports.
• Maintain organized and accurate audit documentation.
• Support the audit team in reporting findings to management.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting, audit, or finance within the UAE.
• Basic understanding of IFRS and UAE VAT regulations.
• Progress toward a professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Odoo ERP or similar accounting systems is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; basic data analysis skills are desirable.
• Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow in an audit-focused role.

Additional Advantages:

• Experience in the education or training sector is a plus.
• Exposure to multi-entity environments is beneficial but not required.
