Location: Dubai, Hybrid (3 days office, 2 days WFH)

About the job

We are looking for a hands-on Finance Manager to build and lead a centralized accounting function supporting a multi-entity global business unit. This role offers full ownership of accounting and reporting for key legal entities (starting with UAE and New Zealand) while working closely with Global HQ in Switzerland.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end accounting (GL, Fixed Assets, Cash, AR) and lead the month-end close process
• Deliver accurate and timely monthly financial reporting to Global HQ
• Manage statutory accounts and local compliance in the UAE, including VAT and Corporate Tax
• Act as the key contact for external auditors and tax advisors
• Ensure compliance with internal control frameworks and support process improvements
• Collaborate closely with Global Shared Services (AP) and Global Treasury
• Handle intercompany transactions, FX topics, and multi-entity reporting
• Lead, coach, and develop 1 accountant

Qualifications, experiences and skills

• ACCA / CPA / CA preferred
• 5–10 (up to 12) years of relevant experience
• Strong IFRS knowledge and reporting experience
• Solid UAE VAT compliance experience (Corporate Tax exposure is a plus)
• Experience in multinational environments (intercompany, FX, matrix organizations, SSC)
• Background in Big 4 audit or finance leadership in an international SME is advantageous
• First experience in line management preferred

Skills

• Strong ownership mindset with ability to work autonomously
• Experience with multi-entity structures and audit coordination
• Proficient in MS Office, SAP; OneStream is a plus
• English required
• Additional European languages are a plus
