ABOUT THE ROLE

Unique Properties is looking to hire an experienced Finance Manager to join our expanding team. They will be responsible for providing additional support to the organization with administrative and financial tasks, including invoicing, budget drafting, issuing purchase orders, and implementing and managing procurement processes. They are also responsible for writing monthly financial reports and filing the company’s taxes.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and assist a team of accountants
  • Manage everyday financial operations.
  • Business partnering with other department heads to ensure that each department is aligned with company’s financial objectives.
  • Ensuring compliance of financial information with professional and regulatory standards
  • Performing account analysis to verify the accuracy of journal entries and balances
  • Drafting budgets
  • Preparation and filing of Tax returns
  • Handle regulatory and statutory external audits
  • Managing the risks involved in the financial activities of the business
  • Estimating short and long-term financial objectives by setting performance targets
  • Drafting procurement processes and signing off on purchase orders
  • Managing and monitoring metrics, KPI tracking, and reports for the financial department
  • Providing training to staff members regarding financial processes
  • Preparation, finalization and consolidation of monthly financial statements and management reports.
  • Preparation of business unit financial reports.
  • Preparation of Sales Agents & Sales Managers/Directors report
  • Liaising with Head of treasury and ensure effective cash flow management.
  • Assist in automation projects for Finance related functions.
  • Reporting regularly to top management of the company’s financial status.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in finance, accounting, or in a related specialization is a must ( ACCA / CMA / CFA )
  • Accreditation from the International Accounting Standards Board
  • At least 4-6 years’ experience in a senior financial position, or similar (Experience in Real Estate is preferred)
  • A good understanding of financial management obligations, especially statutory obligations and requirements
  • Be an analytical thinker with strong investigative and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Excellent report-writing and communication skills
  • The ability to work independently.
