General Accountant (Odoo-Experienced Executive)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented General Accountant with strong hands-on experience in Odoo Accounting and a solid background in UAE VAT filing and corporate tax compliance. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of relevant UAE experience, demonstrates strong analytical skills, and can join immediately or within a 30‑day notice period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations using Odoo ERP (invoicing, payments, reconciliations, journal entries).
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and statements.
• Handle UAE VAT filing, VAT return preparation, and ensure compliance with FTA regulations.
• Support UAE Corporate Tax documentation and submissions.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Generate financial reports through Odoo and provide insights to management.

Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–4 years of UAE experience in accounting, VAT filing, and tax compliance.
• Proficient in Odoo Accounting (mandatory).
• Strong understanding of UAE VAT laws and corporate tax framework.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Immediate joiners or candidates with up to 30‑day notice preferred.
