Job Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, or a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject supported by a recognized teaching qualification (B.Ed, PGDE, or PGCE).
- A postgraduate qualification or professional certification in Special Education, Inclusion, or Educational Leadership is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of inclusive education practices, SEN frameworks, and student support strategies, with the ability to lead and support teachers and support staff effectively.
- Non-native English speakers must demonstrate English language proficiency with an IELTS score of at least 6.0.
- All academic qualifications must be fully attested and recognized through the UAE Ministry of Education Equivalency process
Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of solid and demonstrable teaching experience as an SEN Teacher, ideally within an American curriculum school, along with at least 2 years of experience as an Inclusion Teacher. Candidates must have demonstrated leadership experience within a school setting, such as serving as a Special Education Coordinator, Inclusion Leader, or Head of Department.
