Head of Inclusion

Job Description

Belvedere International School is seeking to appoint an experienced, highly motivated, and dedicated Head of Inclusion to join our leadership team for the 2026–2027 academic year, commencing in August 2026.

Requirements:
Candidates must meet ADEK eligibility requirements for the position of Head of Inclusion, including one of the following qualification pathways:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education, Education, Psychology, or a related field, together with a recognised teaching qualification/licence.
OR 
• A Master’s Degree in Special Education, Education, Psychology, or a related field.

Essential Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Head of Inclusion or in a senior inclusion leadership role. 
• Proven experience leading and managing an inclusion department within a British or international school. 
• Excellent knowledge of ADEK Inclusive Education Policy and UAE regulatory requirements. 
• Strong understanding of the British National Curriculum and effective inclusive teaching practices. 
• Experience in supporting students with SEND, developing Individual Education Plans (IEPs), and leading intervention programmes. 
• Experience managing Learning Support Assistants (LSAs), inclusion staff, and collaborating with teachers, parents, and external agencies. 
• Excellent leadership, communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
