Job Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Education with a specialization in Science, or a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related subject supported by a recognized teaching qualification (B.Ed, PGDE, or PGCE).
- Strong subject knowledge across science disciplines, with the ability to lead curriculum planning, assessment, and instructional improvement within the Science department.
- Non-native English speakers must demonstrate English language proficiency with an IELTS score of at least 6.0.
- All academic qualifications must be fully attested and recognized through the UAE Ministry of Education Equivalency process.
Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of solid and demonstrable teaching experience in Science, with proven experience in a leadership role such as Head of Department, Subject Leader, or Coordinator. Experience within an American curriculum school is preferred.
