Job Description

Role Description The Hospitality Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, supporting the daily operations of ESAW’s student residences. This role includes welcoming students and visitors, responding to inquiries, and providing courteous, timely assistance to ensure a positive living experience. The Hospitality Assistant helps coordinate check-in and check-out processes, supports common area cleanliness and readiness, and assists with food and beverage service during events or designated meal times. Additional responsibilities may include handling basic administrative tasks, reporting maintenance issues, and collaborating with the wider team to uphold safety, comfort, and service standards across the property.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with students, parents, partners, and colleagues.
• Hospitality and Food & Beverage experience to support a welcoming environment and assist with events or meal services.
• Food Service knowledge to help with preparation, presentation, and safe handling of food in accordance with hygiene standards.
• Ability to work on-site in Dubai, with a flexible approach to shifts, weekends, and evening hours as needed.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail for handling multiple tasks, record-keeping, and maintaining orderly spaces.
• Professional, student-centered mindset, with a focus on wellbeing, safety, and cultural sensitivity in a diverse community.
• Previous experience in hospitality, student accommodation, or customer-facing roles is preferred.
• Basic proficiency in English; additional languages relevant to international students are an advantage.
