Junior Accountant

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Junior Accountant to join our professional team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to grow within a fast-paced accounting environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and bookkeeping.
• Support in preparing invoices, receipts, and other accounting documents.
• Record daily financial transactions and reconcile bank statements.
• Help in preparing monthly and annual financial reports.
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable management.
• Support senior accountants in audits, financial analysis, and tax filing.
• Monitor petty cash and ensure proper expense documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial data and adhere to company accounting policies.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience, preferably within the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks).
• Basic understanding of VAT and UAE financial regulations.
• Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
