Role Description The Kindergarten Teacher will design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with the EYFS and Montessori approaches, supporting each child’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Responsibilities include planning daily and weekly activities, preparing learning materials, observing and documenting children’s progress, and adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs. The teacher will create a warm, inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior, curiosity, and independence, and will communicate regularly with parents and carers about children’s learning and well-being. Additional duties include collaborating with colleagues, participating in staff meetings and professional development, and ensuring adherence to health, safety, and safeguarding standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in early years Education and familiarity with EYFS and/or Montessori frameworks.
  • Proven Teaching experience in a kindergarten or early childhood setting, with the ability to manage a diverse classroom.
  • Effective Communication skills to engage positively with children, families, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated Lesson Planning skills, including designing differentiated, play-based, and inquiry-led activities.
  • Experience in Training or mentoring assistant teachers or support staff is an advantage.
  • Relevant diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field; recognized teaching qualification preferred.
  • Commitment to inclusive education, child safeguarding, and maintaining a safe, nurturing learning environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural team and adapt to an international school community in Dubai.
