Job Description

This role focuses on design review, technical submissions, and coordination to ensure that mechanical systems are properly detailed, approved, and aligned with project specifications and site requirements. You will work closely with project managers, consultants, procurement teams, and site engineers to support smooth project execution.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Reviewing mechanical drawings, specifications, and BOQs for accuracy and completeness.
• Preparing and reviewing shop drawings and material submittals for HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting systems.
• Coordinating mechanical drawings with architectural, structural, and electrical disciplines to avoid clashes.
• Responding to RFIs and liaising with consultants for approvals and technical clarifications.
• Supporting procurement by reviewing supplier quotations and technical data sheets.
• Ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and authority requirements.
• Assisting site teams with technical guidance and updated documentation.
• Tracking submissions, approvals, and maintaining organized project records.
  

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience working with a general contracting company in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting systems.
• Experience in preparing shop drawings and technical submittals.
• Familiarity with local authority regulations and approval processes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant engineering software.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple submissions and work within project deadlines.
