Job Description
ð¹ Lesson Planning & Delivery
- Design engaging, student-centered lessons aligned with MOE and GEMS expectations
- Use of varied teaching strategies to cater to mixed-ability classrooms
- Integration of 21st-century learning skills into lessons
ð¹ Differentiation & Inclusion
- Adapt teaching methods for native and non-native learners
- Support students of varying abilities, including SEN and EAL learners
- Promote inclusive classroom practices
ð¹ Assessment & Data Use
- Plan and implement formative and summative assessments
- Analyze student performance data to inform teaching
- Track progress in line with MOE inspection requirements
ð¹ Classroom Management
- Maintain a positive, respectful, and structured learning environment
- Apply consistent behaviour management strategies
- Encourage student engagement and participation
ð¹ Technology Integration
- Use digital tools and platforms (e.g., LMS, smartboards) to enhance learning
- Incorporate interactive and blended learning approaches
ð¹ Cultural & Religious Awareness
- Promote UAE national identity, Islamic values, and cultural heritage
- Ensure sensitivity and respect in delivering Islamic Studies content
ð¹ Compliance & Inspection Readiness
- Strong understanding of MOE regulations and inspection frameworks
- Maintain accurate documentation (lesson plans, assessments, reports)
- Contribute to school readiness for inspections
ð¹ Collaboration & Professionalism
- Work closely with colleagues, coordinators, and leadership
- Engage with parents effectively in both Arabic and English
- Participate in CPD and continuous professional development
Skills
Core Skills for MOE Teacher (Arabic & Islamic Studies)
ð¹ Bilingual Communication
- Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written)
- Ability to deliver lessons, communicate with parents, and collaborate with staff in both languages
- Skilled in translating curriculum expectations across languages
ð¹ Curriculum Expertise
- Strong knowledge of MOE curriculum standards for:
- Arabic A (native speakers)
- Arabic B (non-native speakers)
- Islamic A & B
- Ability to differentiate between A & B tracks effectively
