Job Description

🔹 Lesson Planning & Delivery

  • Design engaging, student-centered lessons aligned with MOE and GEMS expectations
  • Use of varied teaching strategies to cater to mixed-ability classrooms
  • Integration of 21st-century learning skills into lessons

🔹 Differentiation & Inclusion

  • Adapt teaching methods for native and non-native learners
  • Support students of varying abilities, including SEN and EAL learners
  • Promote inclusive classroom practices

🔹 Assessment & Data Use

  • Plan and implement formative and summative assessments
  • Analyze student performance data to inform teaching
  • Track progress in line with MOE inspection requirements

🔹 Classroom Management

  • Maintain a positive, respectful, and structured learning environment
  • Apply consistent behaviour management strategies
  • Encourage student engagement and participation

🔹 Technology Integration

  • Use digital tools and platforms (e.g., LMS, smartboards) to enhance learning
  • Incorporate interactive and blended learning approaches

🔹 Cultural & Religious Awareness

  • Promote UAE national identity, Islamic values, and cultural heritage
  • Ensure sensitivity and respect in delivering Islamic Studies content

🔹 Compliance & Inspection Readiness

  • Strong understanding of MOE regulations and inspection frameworks
  • Maintain accurate documentation (lesson plans, assessments, reports)
  • Contribute to school readiness for inspections

🔹 Collaboration & Professionalism

  • Work closely with colleagues, coordinators, and leadership
  • Engage with parents effectively in both Arabic and English
  • Participate in CPD and continuous professional development

Skills

Core Skills for MOE Teacher (Arabic & Islamic Studies)

🔹 Bilingual Communication

  • Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written)
  • Ability to deliver lessons, communicate with parents, and collaborate with staff in both languages
  • Skilled in translating curriculum expectations across languages

🔹 Curriculum Expertise

  • Strong knowledge of MOE curriculum standards for:
  • Arabic A (native speakers)
  • Arabic B (non-native speakers)
  • Islamic A & B
  • Ability to differentiate between A & B tracks effectively
