Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Payroll Executive with strong knowledge of UAE payroll processing specifically for End of Service (EOS) benefits, and medical health insurance administration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurate and timely payroll processing, employee benefits, final settlements, and coordination with HR, Finance, insurance providers, and relevant authorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process monthly payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
- Prepare and verify payroll inputs, including attendance, overtime, leave, deductions, allowances, commissions, and other adjustments.
- Maintain accurate employee payroll records and ensure confidentiality of payroll information.
- Calculate End of Service (EOS) benefits, final settlements, leave salary, and other employee entitlements in accordance with UAE Labour Law and company policies.
- Prepare final settlement calculations for employees who resign, are terminated, or complete their employment contracts.
- Coordinate with HR regarding new joiners, resignations, terminations, salary changes, promotions, transfers, and other payroll-related updates.
- Ensure proper processing of WPS (Wage Protection System) payroll and coordinate with Finance for timely salary payments.
- Handle employee queries related to salary, deductions, leave salary, EOS benefits, and final settlements.
- Maintain and reconcile payroll records with Finance and ensure discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.
- Administer employee medical health insurance, including new enrollments, cancellations, additions, deletions, renewals, and policy updates.
- Coordinate with insurance providers and brokers regarding employee medical insurance requirements and claims-related queries.
- Maintain accurate records of medical insurance policies, employee enrollments, dependents, and insurance cards.
- Support annual medical insurance renewal processes and coordinate with insurance providers to obtain quotations and required documentation.
- Monitor insurance coverage and ensure eligible employees are enrolled within the required timelines.
- Prepare payroll, EOS, insurance, and employee benefits reports for management.
- Assist during internal and external audits by providing payroll, EOS, insurance, and employee-related documentation.
- Ensure payroll and employee benefit processes comply with UAE Labour Law, company policies, and applicable regulations.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of employee salary, personal, insurance, and other sensitive information.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll administration, preferably within the UAE.
- Strong hands-on experience in UAE payroll, WPS, EOS calculations, final settlements and health insurance.
- Practical knowledge of UAE Labour Law and employee entitlements.
- Previous experience handling medical health insurance administration is required.
- Good knowledge of employee insurance enrollment, cancellation, renewal, and coordination with insurance providers/brokers.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Excel and payroll/HR software.
- Experience with HRIS, payroll systems, or ERP systems is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet strict payroll deadlines.
- UAE experience is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge in Odoo Software.
