Role Overview
The Performance Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, executing and optimizing digital marketing campaigns that drive e-commerce sales, service bookings, retail traffic and customer acquisition. The role combines analytical expertise, commercial judgment and creative thinking to deliver measurable growth through paid media, conversion optimization and data-driven marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Performance Marketing Strategy
Develop and execute performance marketing strategies aligned with commercial objectives, annual plans and growth targets.
Manage customer acquisition, lead generation, remarketing and retention campaigns across multiple digital channels.
Define, monitor and improve KPIs including ROAS, CAC, CPA, LTV, conversion rate and revenue growth.
Translate business priorities into clear media plans, channel targets and testing roadmaps.
Paid Media Management
Plan, launch and optimize campaigns across Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, Snapchat Ads and other relevant platforms.
Manage Google Search, Display, Shopping, Performance Max and YouTube campaigns.
Continuously optimize audiences, bidding, placements, feeds and creatives to maximize ROAS and profitable growth.
Manage advertising budgets, control pacing and prepare monthly and annual performance forecasts.
Maintain campaign governance, accurate tracking, quality assurance and platform compliance.
E-commerce and Conversion Optimization
Drive qualified traffic, online conversions and revenue through the e-commerce platform.
Monitor website performance, merchandising journeys and funnel drop-off points.
Conduct structured A/B testing across landing pages, offers, ad creatives, audiences and conversion funnels.
Partner with the e-commerce and technology teams to improve user experience, conversion rate and checkout performance.
CRM and Customer Retention
Collaborate with CRM stakeholders to improve retention, repeat purchase rate and customer lifetime value.
Support email, SMS, WhatsApp, loyalty and lifecycle marketing initiatives.
Develop audience segmentation, remarketing and lookalike strategies using first-party customer data.
Analytics and Reporting
Analyze channel, campaign and customer-funnel performance and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
Build and maintain dashboards that provide clear visibility of spend, revenue, ROAS, CAC, CPA and conversion performance.
Monitor competitor activity, market trends, consumer behavior and platform developments.
Present performance results, risks, forecasts and recommendations to management regularly.
Maintain reliable attribution, tracking and reporting across platforms and analytics tools.
Collaboration and Team Contribution
Work closely with content creators, designers, e-commerce, CRM, retail teams, service operations and external agencies.
Use campaign insights to guide creative briefs, messaging, formats and content testing.
Coordinate campaign calendars, launches and optimization priorities across stakeholders.
Contribute to annual marketing plans, commercial forecasts and budget preparation.
Coach or guide junior team members and agency partners when required.
Qualifications and Experience
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Digital Marketing or a related discipline.
Experience
Minimum five years of experience in performance marketing, digital marketing or paid-media management.
Demonstrated experience independently managing significant advertising budgets and delivering measurable revenue growth.
Experience in beauty, skincare, wellness, luxury retail, consumer services or e-commerce is preferred.
Experience working across UAE or GCC markets is preferred.
Technical Skills
Advanced working knowledge of Meta Business Manager, Google Ads, GA4, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio and TikTok Ads Manager.
Strong understanding of attribution models, pixels, conversion APIs, tracking implementation and conversion optimization.
Experience with product feeds, Google Merchant Center, remarketing and audience management is preferred.
Knowledge of SEO, CRM systems, marketing automation and lifecycle marketing is an advantage.
