Pharmacist

Job Description

We are looking for a qualified and responsible Pharmacist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing professional pharmaceutical advice, ensuring medication safety, and maintaining compliance with applicable healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately.
• Review prescriptions and ensure appropriate dosage and usage.
• Provide patients with clear instructions regarding medication use, side effects, and precautions.
• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and medication inventory.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure proper storage of medicines.
• Check medication expiry dates and remove expired or damaged products.
• Coordinate with doctors and healthcare professionals when clarification is required.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to patients’ queries professionally.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies, safety procedures, and applicable UAE regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional pharmacy environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or equivalent qualification.
• Valid UAE pharmacy license/eligibility as applicable.
• Previous pharmacy experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medicines, dosage, and pharmaceutical practices.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused and professional attitude.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good English communication skills; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
