Senior Associate (UAE National)
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Senior Associate – Growth Brands will work closely with the Senior Manager (Strategy) for Growth Brands Vertical, to drive strategic priorities across Americana Restaurants’ Growth Brands and to run the ongoing performance cadence that supports fact-based decision-making and execution discipline. This is a high-exposure, high-learning role in a fast-evolving growth platform. The individual will combine structured problem-solving and cross-functional execution rigor to help in scaling new brands, monitoring key strategic initiatives, and aiding in improving performance outcomes.

WHO IS AN IDEAL CANDIDATE
High-potential professional with 4 to 5 years in consulting or a similarly rigorous, fast-paced environment, combining structured problem-solving with strong execution discipline, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams where priorities evolve quickly. Strong commercial acumen with working knowledge of P&L drivers, able to translate data into clear insights and practical actions. Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills are a must along with high attention to detail and strong reliability on deadlines. A self-starter who connects the dots across functions, identifies blockers early, and drives closure through crisp follow-ups. Proficiency in Arabic language is preferred and genuine passion for food, brands, and consumer experience is a strong advantage.
KEY RESPOSIBILITY AREAS:
1) Strategic Initiatives Delivery (Driving New Growth Vertical Priorities)
- Contribute to priority strategic initiatives across Growth Brands by developing and maintaining detailed project plans covering scope, workstreams, milestones, timelines, resource requirements, dependencies, and risk/issue registers with mitigation actions.
- Coordinate inputs required for key decision points (e.g., business cases, initiative proposals, brand launch and integration readiness documents) with a disciplined focus on accuracy and consistency.
- Aid in preparing analyses and execution plans, packaged into high-quality PowerPoint narratives and concise updates for internal forums and leadership reviews.
2) Performance Cadence and Monthly Business Reviews
- Aid in preparing end-to-end materials for the monthly business performance cadence across Growth Brands, including performance packs, variance commentary drafts, and action trackers.
- Consolidate and interpret cross-functional inputs to surface performance drivers and key themes, and maintain disciplined tracking and follow-through on agreed actions (owners, timelines, closure) through subsequent review cycles.
3) KPI Monitoring, Performance Dashboards, and Reporting Toolkits
- Build and maintain dashboards, trackers, and reporting toolkits (primarily in MS Excel and/or in collaboration with BI teams in Power BI) covering commercial and operational KPIs.
- Monitor trends and leading indicators; flag emerging risks/opportunities through crisp, insight-led summaries.
4) Cross-Functional Coordination and Execution Discipline
- Liaise with cross-functional stakeholders (Operations, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, HR, IT/Digital, Real Estate) to gather inputs, align on requirements, and keep deliverables moving in line with agreed timelines.
- Drive structured follow-ups on dependencies and critical-path items; maintain clear visibility on next steps, owners, and due dates.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Education:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in business or management studies from a Tier-1 institute
Experience:
- 4-5 years of experience in strategic project/program management, transformation initiatives, or a similar role in a high-paced environment
- Experience working closely with organizational performance, reviews, and dashboards
- Demonstrated track record of delivering high-impact projects and initiatives
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Business and Strategic Acumen: Understanding of business strategy, operational excellence principles, and organizational performance management systems. Skilled in aligning cross-functional efforts to achieve measurable results.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Proficient in analyzing complex data, developing effective solutions and creating actionable, impactful action plans:
1) MS Excel: comfort in working with large datasets, pivots, data cleaning, structured trackers, and ability to craft executive-ready decks with clear storyline, and concise messaging.
