Senior Management Accountant

Job Description: The Senior Management Accountant is responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis, and strategic support to drive profitability and operational efficiency within a distribution environment. This role focuses heavily on inventory, margins, logistics costs, and working capital management. The role will provide support across all aspects of the Finance function across our UAE and KSA businesses.

Responsibilities: Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Partner with operations and sales teams to improve business performance through financial insights on margins, costs structures and profitability.
• Complete monthly creditor and bank reconciliations
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in line with company policies
• Assist with stock forecasting for procurement per brand and per customer
• Coordinate stock takes and stock management duties. Monitor stock movements, slow moving/obsolete inventory monthly.
• Track performance against budgets / prior years and provide variance analysis
• Prepare monthly reports for brand and customer performance
• Complete ERP postings including supplier invoicing, accruals, prepayments
• Assistance with year-end audit preparation

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience (FMCG industry a plus).
• Excellent organisational, interpersonal, oral/written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Power Point, Word and Excel. Experience with SAGE is a plus.
• Accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar
