· Prepare financial forecasts and models to support business initiatives.
2. Reporting & Compliance:
· Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and presentations for management and stakeholders.
· Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
3. Internal & External Audit:
· Ensure compliance with Accounting Standards, policies and procedures.
· Coordinate with external and internal auditors during quarterly, semi-annual and annual audits.
· Ensure proper record-keeping and statutory filings.
4. Internal Controls & Risk Management:

· Provide financial information to line managers and cross-functional teams as needed.
8. Technology, Automation & AI Enablement:
· Drive the use of automation, large language models (LLMs), AI, and orchestration tools to streamline and automate finance processes and reporting workflows.
· Leverage API integrations and orchestration platforms (e.g., n8n or similar) to connect data sources and build automated reporting formats — for example, extracting data from Bloomberg and orchestrating it into structured reporting outputs.
· Proactively identify opportunities to build and improve automated, technology-driven solutions within the finance function.
Qualifications:
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
· Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are highly desirable.
Experience:
· Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance or investment management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
· Proven track record in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting within the investment sector.
· Blue-chip background preferred, ideally beginning with a Big 4 audit firm, providing strong audit and accounting foundations.
· Exposure to alternative investment houses is an advantage, with an understanding of alternative investment assets such as venture capital and private equity, including financial modeling and valuations. This need not constitute the candidate’s entire career, but some direct exposure is preferred.
· A broad understanding of financial services across multiple domains, rather than experience confined to a single area.
· Genuine interest, and ideally some hands-on experience (even 5–6 months), in technology, automation, LLMs, AI, and orchestration for process improvement – including API integration and platforms used to extract and orchestrate data into reporting formats.
Skills:
· Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS, and regulatory requirements.
· Experience with an audit firm, preferably a Big 4 audit firm.
· Experience with ERP/accounting software, preferably S4HANA, will be an added advantage.
· Familiarity with financial modeling and valuation techniques for alternative investments (VC/PE).
· A genuine interest in building technology-enabled, automated finance solutions.
Personal Attributes:
· Strong leadership capabilities with a collaborative approach.
· High level of integrity and ethical standards.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
· Curiosity and a builder’s mindset, with enthusiasm for applying new technologies to solve finance problems.
