Role Overview

We’re looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer who’s as comfortable in a component library as they are presenting to stakeholders. You’ll be part of the connective tissue between design and engineering

This is a role for someone who doesn’t just make things look great, but understands how they get built.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help own and evolve our design system — components, tokens, documentation, and governance — keeping it scalable as the product grows.
  • Design end-to-end user experiences across our core product suite, from early concepts through to pixel-perfect specs.
  • Lead developer handover with precision: annotating designs, defining interaction states, edge cases, and responsive behaviour so engineers have everything they need.
  • Partner closely with frontend engineers, establishing shared standards and a shared language between design and code.
  • Audit and maintain component consistency across the product, identifying gaps and deprecating what no longer serves us.
  • Contribute to design critiques, help grow design culture, and mentor mid-level designers on the team.
  • Work with product managers and researchers to turn complex financial workflows into experiences that feel simple and trustworthy.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of UX/UI design experience, with at least 2 years working in or leading a design system.
  • Deep hands-on expertise in Figma, including variables, auto layout, component architecture, and multi-brand theming.
  • Proven track record of developer handover done well — you know what engineers need and how to give it to them.
  • A solid understanding of how components are built in code (you don’t need to write it, but you need to speak the language).
  • Experience designing for regulated or data-heavy products — fintech, banking, or similar is a strong plus.
  • Strong communicator who can articulate design decisions clearly to technical and non-technical audiences alike.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates systems thinking alongside strong visual craft.

Why Join Us?

  • Work with an industry-leading global financial institution.
  • Competitive salary and comprehensive employee benefits.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and career advancement.
  • Collaborative, inclusive, and dynamic work environment.
  • Commitment to innovation and professional excellence.

Become part of our international community at MultiBank Group, dedicated to excellence, innovation, and shaping the future of finance.
