Job Description
The SEO Executive is responsible for executing SEO and Email Marketing initiatives across the company’s digital ecosystem, including event websites, landing pages, content platforms, and the company’s in-house CRM system. This is a hands-on, execution led led role, critical to improving organic visibility, qualified traffic, email engagement, lead nurturing, and search- and email-driven lead acquisition across all events.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Execute SEO initiatives across event websites and digital assets in line with approved strategies and plans.
- Conduct keyword research and search intent analysis to support event positioning and organic growth.
- Monitor and improve technical SEO performance, including site architecture, crawlability, indexation, page speed, and mobile optimization.
- Identify technical SEO issues using industry tools and best practices.
- Manage SEO implementation within WordPress, including metadata, page optimization, and plugin configuration.
- Create and publish complete landing pages in WordPress using supplied content and creative assets. Use WordPress page builders, HTML, and basic CSS to edit page structure, formatting, buttons, forms, and layouts while maintaining website stability and mobile responsiveness.
- Build and edit email templates using HTML and CSS, ensuring responsive design and cross-device compatibility.
- Coordinate with IT and developers to ensure timely implementation of fixes and improvements.
- Ensure all technical updates maintain site stability, performance, and SEO integrity.
- Optimize on-page elements such as headings, internal linking, URL structures, and content hierarchy.
- Support SEO-driven content by providing keyword inputs and optimization guidelines.
- Ensure content follows SEO best practices while maintaining readability and relevance.
- Plan, execute, and manage email marketing campaigns using the company’s in-house CRM system.
- Align email content with SEO, content, and broader digital marketing strategies.
- Track organic and campaign performance using GA4, Google Search Console, and SEO tools such as SEMrush and Ahrefs.
- Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare performance reports with actionable insights aligned with marketing objectives.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field with a minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on SEO experience.
- Proven experience managing end-to end SEO and email marketing campaigns.
- Strong experience working with WordPress-based websites.
- Practical experience using HTML and basic CSS for on-page optimization, content structuring and email template development.
- Experience in the events, B2B, or multi-brand environment is a strong advantage but not necessary.
