Job Description

Job Summary

Responsible for managing and controlling all MEP technical documentation and graphical information across properties under Salayel management. Ensures accurate, standardized, and up-to-date drawings and project records to support maintenance, asset management, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

MEP Documentation & Drawing Control

  • Maintain updated MEP drawings for all managed sites.
  • Act as custodian and single point of contact for all technical drawings and graphical records.
  • Maintain approved shop drawings, as-built drawings, and design calculations (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection).

Documentation & Contractor Coordination

  • Maintain complete project files, method statements, technical documents, and correspondence.
  • Coordinate with contractors to collect and archive completion certificates, warranties, O&M manuals, and handover documents.
  • Ensure documentation accuracy and accessibility.

Standards & Project Support

  • Develop and implement standardized graphical documentation methodology.
  • Update drawings to reflect site changes and support CAFM integration.
  • Prepare MEP project execution programs in coordination with Fit-Out and Facility Services teams.
  • Prepare CAPEX and OPEX purchase requests for approval.

Additional Duties

  • Perform other responsibilities assigned by the Asset Manager.

Education

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

AutoCAD Certification

Experience

Minimum 5 years in MEP design and project execution (3+ years in UAE preferred)

Technical Skills & Knowledge

  • MEP systems (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection)
  • AutoCAD (advanced proficiency)
  • Microsoft Project & MS Office
  • Project documentation control
