Job Description

We’re looking for a video editor who can turn raw footage into short-form content that actually

performs: the kind that stops the scroll in the first 2 seconds and holds attention through the last

frame. This isn’t a “cut and caption” job. We need someone who understands why certain edits

get views and can apply that thinking consistently, at volume, and on short notice.

What You’ll Do

• Edit 5-10 high-quality short-form videos per day across YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and X, often on tight/same-day turnaround
• Craft strong hooks in the first 1-3 seconds, with pacing and structure built to retain viewers to

the end

• Handle audio mixing/leveling and build in visual and verbal CTAs where appropriate
• Adapt a single piece of content into multiple formats and aspect ratios optimized for each

platform’s native feel

• Place captions, text overlays, and graphic elements with platform UI in mind (avoiding buttons,

profile icons, comment bars, etc. on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok)

• Work from raw footage related to crypto trading and/or motorsport/racing content, applying

genre-appropriate pacing, terminology, and visual language

• Turn around urgent requests same-day when news, market moves, or race events demand

fast content

What You Bring

• A portfolio that proves it: real examples of edits that drove views/engagement, not just polished

reels

• Strong command of hook-writing, pacing, and structural storytelling for short-form video
• Working knowledge of format specs and best practices across YouTube (Shorts/long-form),

Instagram (Reels/Stories), and TikTok

• An eye for on-screen design: caption placement, safe zones, timing, and typography that fits

each platform

• Genuine understanding of crypto trading content and/or racing/motorsport content: ideally

both. You should be able to follow the subject matter well enough to make smart editorial calls,

not just execute instructions blindly

• Speed without sacrificing quality: comfortable producing high output daily under real deadlines
• Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or

similar)

• Based in Dubai or a European time zone, able to overlap with our working hours

Nice to Have

• Experience editing for crypto exchanges, trading educators, or finance creators
• Experience with motorsport, racing, or automotive content
• Basic motion graphics/animation skills
• Fluency in additional languages beyond English
