Requirement of the position:

The ACCA Intern will support the Finance team in day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, and compliance activities. This internship provides practical exposure to financial operations within a regulated financial services environment and offers ACCA candidates the opportunity to develop professional skills while applying academic knowledge in a real-world setting.

The role is suitable for:

  • ACCA Affiliates / ACCA Finalists
  • ACCA candidates who have successfully completed a minimum of six (6) ACCA papers

Job Responsibilities

Financial Accounting Support

  • Assist in preparing journal entries, account schedules, and supporting documentation.

Reconciliations

  • Perform bank, vendor, customer, and general ledger reconciliations under supervision.

Financial Reporting

  • Assist in preparing monthly management reports and financial analysis.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Support invoice processing, payment tracking, and customer account reconciliations.

Budgeting & Analysis

  • Assist with budgeting exercises, variance analysis, and financial data compilation.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Support VAT, regulatory, audit, and internal compliance documentation requirements.

Audit Support

  • Assist in preparing audit schedules and responding to information requests from auditors.

Data Management

  • Maintain financial records, reports, and supporting documentation accurately and securely.

Process Improvement

  • Participate in initiatives aimed at improving finance processes and operational efficiency.

Ad Hoc Projects

  • Support the Finance team on special assignments and projects as required.
