Are you a tech-savvy finance professional with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for numbers? We’re on the lookout for a skilled Accountant to join our growing finance team in the IT & Technology sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, and general ledger entries
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure timely payment cycles
• Monitor project-based cost tracking (software development, cloud services, etc.)
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities across departments
• Ensure VAT compliance and timely filing as per UAE regulations
• Coordinate with auditors and assist in external/internal audits
• Assist with financial data analysis to support business decisions
• Maintain accurate records in accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho, or ERP systems)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Certified Accountant (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA) is a plus
• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience, ideally in the IT / technology / software sector
• Solid understanding of UAE VAT regulations and financial compliance

Preferred Experience

• Accounting for software subscriptions, cloud services, and SaaS models
• Handling multi-currency transactions and international vendor payments
• Familiarity with ERP/accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, Odoo, SAP)
• Coordination with cross-functional teams: Procurement, Sales, and IT

Skills & Attributes

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling basics)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
