Job Description:

Lathief Productions is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Tally and ERP systems, along with a solid understanding of accounting principles, WPS payroll, and VAT submissions. The role involves managing all day-to-day accounting operations, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with UAE accounting and tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Record and reconcile financial data accurately in Tally and ERP systems.
• Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Process WPS payroll, ensuring compliance with UAE labor and banking regulations.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns, and maintain all relevant supporting documentation.
• Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and petty cash transactions.
• Support in budget preparation, cost control, and financial forecasting.
• Assist with audit preparation and ensure accurate recordkeeping.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of financial data and documentation.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the media, production, or creative industry.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP and other ERP platforms.
• Strong understanding of UAE VAT laws, submission, and return processes.
• Experience in WPS payroll processing.
• Excellent command of Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred:

• Experience in production or media-related accounting workflows.
• Knowledge of project-based cost tracking and reporting.
