RENECO’s mission is to implement a global conservation strategy aiming to restore and preserve the Houbara bustard populations of North Africa (Chlamydotis undulata) and Asia (Chlamydotis macqueenii).
To achieve these goals, RENECO has developed a multidisciplinary approach within different centers in Morocco, Central Asia, and the Arabian Peninsula by combining fundamental and applied research.
To cope with the expansion of its activities and due to the development of new conservation projects, RENECO is opening new positions in Morocco and Kazakhstan, giving a unique opportunity to be part of an ambitious conservation program
Key Responsibilities:
- Record and process accounting transactions in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable activities, including purchase orders, invoices, expense claims, and payment follow-up.
- Monitor bank accounts, petty cash transactions, and ensure proper financial documentation and reconciliation.
- Support fixed asset tracking, inventory checks, and accurate accounting records maintenance.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and monitor third-party accounts to ensure financial accuracy.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and responding to audit requests.
- Contribute to financial reporting activities, identify inconsistencies, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist in maintaining accounting documentation, filing systems, and administrative financial processes.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional Experience & Skills:
- At least 5 years of accounting experience, preferably within an international environment.
- Previous audit exposure or experience (3+ years preferred).
- UAE experience is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting, reporting, reconciliations, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in bookkeeping, general ledger management, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR).
- Good knowledge of financial controls, balance sheet reconciliation, and audit support activities.
- Experience using ERP systems (Oracle experience will be an advantage).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel (mandatory).
- Full professional proficiency in English.
