Accountant – Real Estate Development


We are seeking an experienced Accountant with 4–6 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years within a UAE real estate development company

Key Responsibilities
– Manage the full accounting cycle, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), bank reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing.
– Process and review supplier invoices, payment requests, vendor reconciliations, and scheduled payments.
– Monitor project costs, budgets, contractor payments, and development expenditures.
– Manage escrow account reconciliations and ensure compliance with RERA, DLD, and other applicable regulations.
– Handle customer financial documentation, including Statements of Account (SOA), receipts, tax invoices, credit notes, and customer account reconciliations.
– Coordinate with Sales and Customer Service teams on collections, settlements, transfers, and cancellations.
– Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, IFRS, and other regulatory requirements.
– Prepare VAT returns, support Corporate Tax filings, and liaise with tax consultants.
– Lead and coordinate external audits, prepare audit schedules, and respond to auditor inquiries.
– Maintain accurate vendor and customer records and ensure timely processing of payments and collections.

Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
– Professional qualification is a plus.
– Strong experience in UAE real estate development accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, escrow management, customer accounts, VAT, Corporate Tax, and external audits.
– Hands-on experience with Oracle NetSuite, Salesforce, and Tally ERP.
– Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial reporting skills.
