Job Description

ScaffWorks Scaffolding Industry LLC is a growing cuplock scaffolding manufacturer and rental company based in Umm Al Quwain. We manufacture our own scaffolding systems and serve contractors across the UAE through sales and rental operations. We’re looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to take ownership of our financial operations and help drive disciplined, data-led decision-making.

The Role

You’ll be the backbone of our finance function — owning the books end to end, keeping our ERP accurate, and giving management the numbers they need to run the business well. This is a hands-on role with real ownership, ideal for someone who wants visibility across the entire financial picture of a manufacturing and rental operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end close
• Maintain accurate records in Odoo ERP, including product costing, inventory valuation, and rental billing
• Oversee receivables and collections, monitor aging, and follow up on overdue accounts
• Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and cash flow forecasts
• Handle UAE VAT compliance — filing returns, reconciling input/output VAT, and managing FTA submissions and refunds
• Reconcile bank accounts, supplier statements, and customer accounts
• Manage fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
• Support cost accounting for manufacturing, including raw material and consumable tracking
• Coordinate with operations on inventory counts, rental returns, and stock reconciliation
• Assist management with budgeting, pricing analysis, and financial planning

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, construction, or equipment rental
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Odoo experience is a strong advantage)
• Solid working knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and FTA procedures
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets
• Experience with inventory and cost accounting
• High attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies others miss
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities independently
• Must speak English and Hindi/Urdu well.

Nice to Have

• Professional qualification (CMA, ACCA, CPA, or part-qualified)
• Experience in the scaffolding, construction equipment, or rental industry
