We are on the lookout for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our dynamic Fintech startup. In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing, tracking, and evaluating the company’s daily financial operations. Your expertise will help shape our financial strategies, ensuring we maintain robust, efficient processes as we continue to scale. Key Responsibilities: As an Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the accounting department.

Your responsibilities will include: Department Management: Oversee the daily operations of the accounting team, ensuring processes are carried out effectively and efficiently.  System Implementation: Design and configure the company’s accounting system, including the setup of accounting charts and preparation of financial statements.  Month-end and year-end closing processes  Accounts payable and receivable  Cash receipts and cash forecasting  General ledger management  Payroll, utilities, and treasury functions  Budgeting and variance analysis  Reconciliation of capital assets, trust accounts, and other financial records  Management of check runs, fixed asset activity, and debt-related tasks  Financial Reporting and Analysis:  Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce accurate financial reports and statements.  Provide insights and recommendations to support data-driven decision-making. 

Requirements and skills:

 Professional Experience: Demonstrated success in roles such as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, or Finance Manager, showcasing leadership and hands-on experience in financial operations.

 Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of MS Office, accounting software, and databases.

 Data Management: Skilled in handling and analyzing large datasets with precision and efficiency.

 Accounting Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of bookkeeping, accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.

 Attention to Detail: Exceptional focus on accuracy and detail to maintain integrity in financial reporting

 Leadership Skills: Proven ability to direct, supervise, and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.

 Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
