Job Summary
Express English Language Training Center is seeking a Part-Time Arabic Teacher with native-level Arabic proficiency to deliver high-quality Arabic language courses for non-native speakers. The role focuses on building students’ confidence in speaking, reading, and understanding Arabic for everyday and professional settings — with options for Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) and Emirati dialect.
Key Responsibilities
– Deliver engaging Arabic language classes for non-native speakers (all levels)
– Teach Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) and/or Emirati dialect based on student needs
– Focus on real-world communication: speaking, listening, reading, and basic writing
– Assess students’ current Arabic proficiency and tailor lessons accordingly
– Develop lesson plans emphasizing practical vocabulary, pronunciation, and cultural context
– Incorporate role-playing, dialogues, and situational exercises (e.g., workplace, travel, daily life)
– Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
– Adapt teaching methods for individuals or small groups as needed
Requirements
– Native-level Arabic proficiency (spoken and written)
– Bachelor’s degree (Arabic Language, Linguistics, Education, or related field preferred)
– Minimum 1–2 years of experience teaching Arabic to non-native speakers
– Strong understanding of Arabic grammar, script, and common learner challenges
– Teaching certifications (e.g., Arabic Language Teaching Certificate, CELTA, or equivalent) are an advantage
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Patience and creativity in working with beginner to advanced learners
– Ability to explain cultural nuances and dialect differences clearly
Working Conditions
– Part-time role with flexible hours (evenings/weekends may be required)
– UAE-based (onsite at Express English center)
– Small class sizes and one-on-one options available
Desired Skills and Experience
