Assistant Director-FSS Accounts Receivable
The successful candidate will likely be from a real estate developer background and will have end to end O2C expertise within a multi national PLC or similar.
Functional Responsibilities
â–ª Manage O2C customer related transactions for DAMAC Group businesses in scope of FSS and implementing
sufficient reconciliations and controls to ensure quality of accounting.
â–ª Create sufficient early warning indications of accounting or system error and ensure appropriate corrective and
preventive action.
â–ª Manage, guide and support both the relevant onshore and offshore direct and indirect reports ensuring smooth
working alignment and eliminating any gaps, delays or errors.
▪ Ensure that service requests and Tickets are actioned in accordance with policy and within agreed SLA’s.
â–ª Oversee the period end function ensuring that all business AR ledgers are closed on time following completion
of month end activities based on appropriate evidence and supporting files.
â–ª Supporting both internal and external audit in process or accounting related reviews.
â–ª Act as key participant and SPOC in various internal Projects such as new System and ERP implementations as
well and new business and sales launch readiness.
â–ª Lead O2C process improvements and leverage automation to increase efficiency, quality and timeliness.
â–ª Provide critical support to internal stakeholder teams such as Sales, CRM, Collections, Handover, Legal etc.
Minimum Qualification
▪ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
▪ Certified qualification in CA/CPA/ACCA/Post–graduation in Finance or equivalent preferred
Minimum Experience â–ª Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in the real estate sector supporting
customer journey, as well as a proven track record for growth in scope and performance within a highly
pressurised results focused and dynamic centralised Financial Shared Service centre, and progressively
increasing managerial responsibilities
