Job Description: Associate Director – Corporate Tax

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled Associate Director – Corporate Tax to lead corporate tax team, manage client relationships, and oversee high-quality service delivery. The ideal candidate must have prior consultancy experience, extensive client-facing expertise, and a preferred background in a leading tax advisory firm in UAE and India (experience in UAE is must).

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership:
• Drive the corporates tax team in alignment with firm goals.
• Oversee Corporate Tax (CT) service delivery.
• Achieving allocated CT budget with the right mix of services as aligned to firm’s goal.
• Identify revenue mining opportunities through cross selling / upselling.
• Build and manage strong client relationships as the point of contact for senior management of clients, providing expert CT advisory.
• Ensure client satisfaction by delivering tailored solutions, managing expectations effectively and regular feedback on the engagement performance.
• Ensure all Service Level Agreements / Engagement Letters are fully compliant and effectively delivery.
• Build and Manage a high calibre corporate tax team, capable of delivering high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with the tax team in India for seamless execution and alignment with client needs.
• Ensure compliance with UAE corporate tax regulations.
• Identify opportunities for tax planning and risk mitigation while maintaining adherence to regulations.

Qualifications:

• Professional certification such as CA and certification in UAE corporate tax.
• Minimum of 8+ years of tax experience.
• Proven experience in consultancy and client-facing roles.

Location Preference:

Candidates based in Abu Dhabi are preferred.
