Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

As the Head of Enterprise Information Management, you will play a critical role in shaping our data strategy and capabilities to unlock insights, optimize processes, and enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for designing, implementing, and managing data platforms, analytics solutions, and information governance frameworks to ensure the quality, integrity, and security of our data assets.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1- Data Strategy and Governance:

– Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

– Establish data governance policies, standards, and frameworks to ensure the quality, privacy, and security of our data assets throughout their lifecycle.

– Oversee compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and internal data management policies.

2- Data Platforms and Architecture:

– Define the architecture and roadmap for our data platforms, incl. data warehouses, data lakes, and BI systems.

– Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of data management technologies and tools.

– Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to design scalable and resilient data architectures that enable efficient data integration, storage, and access.

3- Data Engineering and Integration:

– Manage a team of data engineers responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration solutions.

– Drive automation and optimization of data workflows to ensure timely and accurate delivery of data to end users and analytical systems.

– Implement best practices for data modeling, schema design, and data governance to facilitate data reuse and interoperability.

4- Data Science and Analytics:

– Oversee our data science and analytics capabilities, including predictive modeling, machine learning, and advanced analytics.

– Collaborate with business teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data insights to drive innovation, optimize processes, and enhance decision-making.

– Foster a culture of experimentation and continuous learning within the data science team, promoting the use of data-driven methodologies to solve business problems.

5- Information and Records Management:

– Develop and implement policies and procedures for managing enterprise information assets, including documents, records, and knowledge repositories.

– Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for information management and retention.

– Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements

RELATED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

– Minimum of 14+ years of experience in data management, analytics, or information governance roles, with a proven track record of leadership in complex organizations.

YOE IN MANAGERIAL POSITION

– Min of: 6+ years of managerial experience in a related field

FIELD OF EXPERIENCE

– Large multinationals, Consumer driven businesses, Real Estate Industry Preferred

TECHNICAL AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS

– Strong understanding of data management principles, methodologies, and technologies, including datawarehousing, big data, cloud platforms, and data governance frameworks.

– Experience leading cross functional teams and driving data driven decision making across the organization.

– Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders around a shared vision.

– Certifications in data management (e.g., CDMP), data governance (e.g., DGSP), or related fields are highly desirable.

QUALIFICATION

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred (Master, MBA)
